Phoenix Coyotes and Walk for Cancer

My childhood friend, Heather, and I went to see the Coyotes last weekend. I've never been much into sports, but I have to say that I was entertained--and I got a new hat (which I'll never wear again, but it was festive for the game).

The next day we woke up at 4 am and did the Walk for Cancer. It was a six mile walk up the mountain. At the top they had a baloon finish line with people to congradulate you and give you a sticker that said "I made it to the top". I thought that was funny because it wasn't that difficult, but it still made me feel good.

It was a good weekend, and I am looking foward to future walks and hockey games.

Sounds like you had a blast. I have done a couple walks for a cure in the past. I thought it was totally cool how so many people come together to try and raise money for a cause. I loved being a part of it.

I have been waiting a long time for this post. Don't leave us hanging so long next time:)

love, Amy
